Rixos Premium Dubai welcomes Italian home cooking with the opening of its latest venue, Luigia Italian restaurant and pizzeria.

With four successful Luigia venues already in Europe, the restaurant group founded by Luigi Guarnaccia and Enrico Coppola has been recognized by Italian food and wine publication Gambero Rosso as one of the top 10 pizzerias in the world.

Bearing the first name of the founders’ grandmothers, Luigia draws its inspiration from the love given by Italian grandmothers to their families through the art of cooking.

“We want our guests to feel like they are pushing the door open to Italy when they visit Luigia, sharing a friendly moment while enjoying the pleasure and flavour of Italian dolce vita all in one meal,” said, Sunset Hospitality CEO Antonio Gonzalez.

Luigia prides itself on serving ‘The Best of Italy’, sourcing fresh quality ingredients and following authentic ‘tried and tested’ recipes, handed down from generation to generation.

The Dubai outpost of Luigia features freshly baked pizzas which have been cooked in a Neapolitan wood-fired oven, signature homemade pastas and traditional specialties along with a variety of Italian desserts.

The restaurant is open weekdays from 5:30pm to 1am and on weekends from 12:00noon to 1am.
